Case Study: Harmony Program – Website Design
Harmony Program
New Site Functionality & Content Create Perfect Rhythm for Music Non-Profit
shyft performs website redesign and marketing refresh to fine tune brand’s image
When The Harmony Program, a non-profit that helps New York City children develop important life skills through collective music-making, was ready to update their existing website, they contacted shyft to ensure the redesign met all their goals. And that meant elevating their messaging and user experience to better reflect the organization’s authenticity and forward evolution over the last 5 years.
With the existing content primarily focused on solely targeting donors, we needed to expand the site’s offering to provide a place for prospective parents and schools to find important information that would encourage new partnerships. This included incorporating easy call-to-actions, quick donation functionality, and purposeful messaging about how to get involved. And it had to be versatile enough to be relevant to a wide range of audiences, from funders, cultural and educational partners, families, teachers, and more.
The new site not only provides users a much more enjoyable experience through updated functionality and comprehensive program information, but it also embraces a more modern look and feel with more insightful storytelling, including a collection of Student Stories that highlight the accomplishments of the program’s young alumni. And with the website transformation came the task of refreshing The Harmony Programs’ extensive Annual Report with new visuals to match the updated branding of the new site. We also had the pleasure of creating a series of print assets to promote the new Ensemble program for 2024 – trifold brochures, postcards in English and Spanish for trade show handouts and large posters that will hang in music classrooms around the 5 boroughs.
shyft loves working with the Harmony team to bring their brand to their high standards as we value everything the program stands for: changing lives by bringing music education directly into underserved communities across New York City.
